<p>Reporting to the Director of the Counseling Center, the Assistant Director of the Counseling Center is responsible for providing a coordinated and comprehensive system of treatment services aimed at enhancing the academic, emotional, and social development and well-being of students while promoting respect for self, others, and diversity within the University community. In collaboration with the Director and the Associate Director, the Assistant Director ensures the successful delivery of all forms of service for the Counseling Center. In the absence of both the Director and the Associate Director, the Assistant Director maintains the operations of the Counseling Center, including treatment services, the facilitation of Center meetings, and external consultations.</p>
<p><strong>Clinical Duties</strong><br />Provide individual and group counseling with students experiencing personal concerns while continuously adhering to ethical and legal standards.</p>
<p>Conduct crisis appointments, intakes, post-hospitalization meetings, psychological assessments, and other specialized clinical interventions.</p>
<p>Continuously compose and update clinical records in a timely manner.</p>
<p>Participate in the rotation of on-call and after-hours crisis management, as assigned by the Director.</p>
<p>Consult about students of concern and other matters of importance to the Counseling Center with administrators, faculty, staff, family members of students, and on and off-campus treatment providers.</p>
<p><strong>Administrative Duties</strong><br />Abide by and maintain Counseling Center and University policies and procedures.</p>
<p>In consultation with the Director and Associate Director, continually monitor, assess, and modify, when needed, operations within the Counseling Center.</p>
<p>Facilitate Counseling Center meetings and external consultations in the absence of both the Director and Associate Director.</p>
<p><strong>Outreach Duties</strong><br />Develop and implement psychoeducational outreach programs, including those requested by administrators, faculty, staff, or student organizations.</p>
<p>Serve as the Counseling Center liaison to one or more university departments.</p>
<p><strong>Training Duties</strong><br />Contribute to the training and evaluation of graduate-level trainees.</p>
<p>Function as an individual supervisor for trainees that includes consistent supervisory meetings and oversight of trainee record-keeping.</p>
<p>Provide on-going feedback to trainees and compose and utilize formalized evaluations for trainees.</p>
<p>Provide group supervision to trainees as needed.</p>
<p><strong>Additional Functions</strong><br />Coordinate, or assist in, Counseling Center efforts in a particular domain (e.g., social media, sports psychology, substance use, Title IX).</p>
<p><em>This is a full-time 10-month position.</em></p>
<p><b>Job Requirements:</b></p>
<p>Master&#8217;s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.</p>
<p>Must hold an active Rhode Island professional license or obtain a Rhode Island professional license within 1 year of start date.</p>
<p>Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with a young adult population.</p>
<p>Minimum of 1 year of experience in the training and supervision of graduate-level trainees.</p>
<p>Individual and group treatment skills with additional experience in crisis intervention and case consultation.</p>
<p>Knowledge and experience in working with diverse populations of students and university personnel.</p>
<p>Ability to work non-traditional hours and represent the Counseling Center on an infrequent basis for campus events, emergency situations, and outreach programs.</p>
<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br />Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.) in counseling or clinical psychology.</p>
<p>One or more internship(s) and/or fellowship(s) in a higher education counseling center.</p>
<p>Minimum of one year professional experience in a counseling center within higher education.</p>

			<p>ACRS seeks a full-time <strong> Administrator for Integrated Behavioral Health Services</strong> in our Integrated Behavioral Health Services department who provides clinical oversight, supervision, leadership, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance for all services under the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) in order to provide high quality services and produce the best possible outcomes for ACRS clients and the community. The Administrator serves as a member of the Executive Team, helping to set the strategic direction of IBHS. Ensures the work of IBHS department reflects the organization’s mission and values including Equity, Inclusion, Diversity, and Belonging (EIDB).</p>
<p><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversees clinical and administrative operations of the IBHS department to ensure effective, compliant, and high-quality service delivery. Ensures program compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws, licensing requirements, contracts, agency policies and procedures, and all other regulations, requirements, and standards as required. Responsible for overseeing financial activities and managing department budget, including setting financial goals, monitoring expenses, and reporting financial status.</li>
<li>Builds and maintains workflows that support accurate clinical documentation, meet reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Provides leadership and supervision to the Medical Director, Director of Children’s Mental Health, Director of Recovery Services, and Clinical Director of Adult Mental Health.</li>
<li>Leads the clinical direction for the agency, through integration of CCBHC community needs assessment, promotion of behavioral health best practices and working with clinical leaders to address areas of improvement and/or service gaps across the continuum of services at ACRS.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>

<li><strong>Education and Experience:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Master’s degree in Behavioral Health field and a Mental Health Professional standing with at least seven (7) years of experience in mental health services; AND</li>
<li>Must have an active license as a Mental Health Professional preferrably in Washington State AND</li>
<li>At least 5 years’ experience in senior leadership roles in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Experience working in a CCBHC or FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) setting strongly preferred</li>
<li>Experience working with individuals experiencing serious mental health conditions, including familiarity with behavioral health needs of Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander communities.</li>
