Your salary is spread across all 12 months with a continuation of University benefits. We offer a flexible start date of either August 2026 or January 2027, depending on your availability and subject to budgetary approval. You will join a vibrant department of 10 full-time faculty members and two academic support professionals. Approximately 60-85 students choose to declare a psychology major each year. We also co-sponsor a Neuroscience Major with our Biology Department.

Minimum Qualifications

A master’s in mental health counseling, clinical psychology or a related field, by August 15, 2026.

A demonstrated background in applied mental health (e.g., providing services, interventions, programming, education, or prevention).

Prior teaching experience is required, but we define it broadly. We welcome candidates whose teaching experience includes facilitating workshops, conducting trainings, giving guest lectures, or teaching at the high-school or collegiate level.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience teaching at the collegiate level.
