<p>Purdue University’s Department of Psychological Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Cognitive Neuroscience to begin in the Fall of 2023. <h6><b>Qualifications</b></h6>
<p>The candidate must have a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology, human neuroscience or a related field (e.g., cognitive science, psychological and brain sciences, etc) by the position start date. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate the ability and/or potential to publish high-quality research, obtain external funding, and excel in teaching and mentoring. Area of research expertise is open. Applicants with a commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion are preferred.</p>
<h6><b>The College and University</b></h6>
<p>The Department of Psychological Sciences is the largest department in the College of Health and Human Sciences (<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">https://hhs.purdue.edu</a>), which is one of the largest colleges at Purdue. The Psychological Sciences faculty have strong connections with several college- and campus-wide initiatives, including the Center for Research on Brain, Behavior, and NeuroRehabilitation (CEREBBRAL), the Purdue Autism Research Center (PARC), the Life Science MRI Facility, the Purdue Institute for Integrative Neuroscience (PIIN), and the Center on Aging and the Life Course (CALC).</p>
<p>Established in 1869, Purdue is Indiana’s land-grant university, a comprehensive educational and research institution and member of the American Association of Universities. The West Lafayette campus, located a one-hour drive north of Indianapolis and a two-hour drive south of downtown Chicago, has ten academic colleges with an enrollment of 49,639 students from all 50 states and nearly 130 countries.
