Job Summary

The Department of Educational Psychology announces a tenure track Assistant Professor position in an APA-accredited Counseling Psychology program to begin Fall, 2019. The department also has an M.S. program accredited by MPCAC.

Successful candidates are expected to contribute to the Department’s strong multicultural, culturally-responsive emphasis, and to contribute to instruction in the doctoral program in counseling psychology as well as to master’s programs in school and clinical mental health counseling. Additional responsibilities include normal university committee work, student advisement, and grant preparation.

Minimum Qualifications

-Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited Counseling Psychology program with an APA-accredited Internship, by the start date of the position.
-Evidence of achievement in or promise of scholarly productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

-Eligibility for licensure in Wisconsin preferred.
-Although the area of scholarly focus is open, we are particularly interested in candidates with a professional identity as a scientist-practitioner and an interest in or experience in working with children and youth or within a school setting.
