The Department of Psychological Science at Albion College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in clinical or counseling psychology, beginning August 2020. We seek candidates who will contribute to a campus climate that supports equity and diversity, and are especially interested in colleagues who can teach and advise students of diverse backgrounds in a liberal arts college. Preference will be given to applicants with experience teaching undergraduate courses in Abnormal Psychology, Counseling, and/or Psychological Assessment, as well as an interest in/experience teaching introductory psychology and research methods and statistics. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to contribute to all-college programs (Honors, First-Year Seminar, Interdisciplinary programs). The teaching load is 3/3, one of which is a practicum based course. Candidates will have an active research program that involves undergraduate students and holds the potential for peer-reviewed publications. Research space and start-up funds are available. Ph.D. at start date (August 24, 2020) required.
