			<p>Background: Loyola University Chicago (LUC), College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Psychology, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank beginning Fall 2018.  We invite applications from individuals with a strong program of research in the area of Psychology and Justice, broadly defined.  The Department currently has 28 tenured and tenure-track faculty, serves 1,000 undergraduate majors, and has three Ph.D. training tracks (Developmental, Clinical, and Social).  For more information about the Department of Psychology, please visit our website at <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.luc.edu/psychology">www.luc.edu/psychology</a>.</p>
<p>Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to maintain a vigorous, ongoing program of research and publication, the potential to secure external grant funding to support that research, and the willingness to contribute substantially to the department’s teaching mission at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.</p>
<p>Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Psychology, a strong record of productive research, and clear evidence of excellence in teaching and student mentorship. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to one of our three graduate training tracks, and to teach a 2/2 load that would include, among other topics, an undergraduate course in psychology and law. The ability to teach judgment and decision-making and/or graduate statistics is desirable. All candidates must be willing to support the mission of LUC and the goals of a Jesuit Catholic Education.</p>
