The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Training for our APA-accredited doctoral program at the Chicago Campus. The Associate Director of Applied Professional Practice (APP) serves as an integral member of the Clinical Psy.D. Department’s training team including 2 Associate Directors and 1 Director of Applied Professional Practice. APP oversees student training placements including practicum and internship search processes, training placements, and monitoring student practicum performance. The Associate Director is a member of the Clinical Psychology program faculty and generally teaches one course each academic term. Applicants must hold a doctorate in psychology and have or be eligible for licensure as a clinical Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience teaching at the graduate level and academic and professional background in the following content areas: Cognitive –Affective basis of behavior, Cognitive –Behavioral /ACT/DBT theory and intervention, Systems Theory and Practice, Neuropsychology.
