The Mount Sinai Medical Center Department of Rehabilitation Medicine is recruiting for an immediate opening for an Inpatient Neuro-Rehabilitation Psychologist.  The Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Center is one of the top rehabilitation facilities in the United States, holds multiple accreditations by CARF, and is a Model Systems Center for both Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury. 

The psychologist will provide neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology services (neuropsychological assessment, psychotherapy, individual and group cognitive remediation) to patients with diverse central nervous system diagnoses. The psychologist will provide services to patients with diverse brain injuries (TBI, stroke, brain tumors) as well as many other medically complex conditions requiring rehabilitation services; they may also have the opportunity to work with patients with spinal cord injury and limb loss, depending on their skill set. The psychologist will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals. 

The psychologist will join the faculty of our APA-accredited Doctoral Internship in Clinical Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology, and provide supervision to doctoral students in training, including psychology interns and externs.  They will also be appointed to the faculty of Mount Sinai School of Medicine and join a psychology staff of eight full time clinical and research psychologists.

Requirements include psychology licensure in New York State and prior clinical experiences in both rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology, including experience with individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury.
