Since its beginning in 2000, AACI’s Center for Survivors of Torture (CST) program has provided culturally competent, client centered, specialized services to more than 2,100 survivors of torture and their family members. Our services, provided with a multidisciplinary, holistic, and strengths-based approach, include individual and group psychotherapy, psychiatry, psychological and medical evaluations for political asylum cases, social, and legal support.

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Behavioral Health Licensed Counselor is responsible for providing direct behavioral health services in home, clinic, and field settings. At least 65% of the counselor’s time will be spent providing direct billable services and supervision.

Salary Range $82,000- $94,000 annually

Qualifications:

License in Social Work, Marriage Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, or Psychology or within six months of licensure

Two years or more of directly related experience working with refugee, survivors of torture and complex trauma survivors in a clinical setting
