The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville is seeking a mental health clinician for the Pat Walker Health Center’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).  

Summary of Job Duties: The Mental Health Clinician’s clinical job duties include individual, couple, and group counseling, emergency mental health services, consultation with the University community, and clinical supervision of graduate students; clinical disposition activities, staff meetings, and clinical documentation; coordination of specific area (i.e., group, outreach, training, etc.). 

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited institution of higher education; plus State of Arkansas license for independent practice in one’s discipline or the eligibility for licensure within a timely manner given the requirements of the applicable licensing body. Demonstrated clinical experience working with multicultural and underrepresented populations. Demonstrated commitment to multiculturalism and diversity.
