The Doctor of Psychology program at Augsburg University invites applications for a non-tenure-track faculty position to begin August 24, 2020. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, service, and academic advising. All faculty are licensed psychologists and faculty are afforded one day per week for professional practice and/or scholarship. Successful candidates will have demonstrated competence and experience in teaching a selection of courses in graduate clinical psychology, that could include, but are not limited to: Cognitive, Objective, and Projective Assessment; Physiological Psychology; Cognition and Affect; Research Methods and Statistics; Assessment and Treatment of Diverse Populations; Professional Issues: Ethics, Conduct, and the Law; and other topics depending on candidate interest and program needs. Candidates are not expected to teach all of these courses, but should have expertise in a range. Candidates with a robust program of research and expertise in multicultural psychology, particularly leadership, research, and practice with clients and/or students from diverse backgrounds are preferred. 

Requirements for this position include a Ph.D. or PsyD. In clinical psychology or a closely related field (e.g., counseling psychology) by the time the position begins. Licensure as a psychologist is preferred but not required. The Clinical Psychology Program at Augsburg University and the University itself are especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute to the diversity of our community through their teaching, research, and/or service.
