			<p>CU Boulder welcomes applicants for a <strong>M</strong><strong>ulticultural Specialist</strong> role within <strong>Counseling and Psychiatric Services</strong> <strong>(CAPS)!</strong> The multicultural specialist provides direct clinical services to university students, including individual and group psychotherapy, triage and walk-in services, crisis management, and workshops. This very crucial role provides outreach, consultation and mental health support to diverse, historically marginalized, and under-represented populations at the university. This position also provides support and training in multiculturalism to department staff. Additionally, this position provides clinical supervision and training seminars to psychology and social work trainees.<br /> <br />The multicultural specialist collaborates with other campus departments as appropriate for the treatment of CAPS patients and ensures that issues of diversity and social justice are considered in all assessment, treatment, referral, and training services provided.</p>
