			<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Student Counseling Services (SCS) is seeking a Doctoral level psychologist to provide individual and group counseling to students, outreach and programming to the University community, and coordination of practicum training. This role serves as the facilitator for doctoral intern supervision seminar and practicum seminar leader, and may also serve as a liaison to a campus partner. As a member of the training program team, this position will work closely with and report to the Training Director. This position will be expected to work on campus and provide in person services.</span></p>
<p><b>Primary Job Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Provide personal counseling services via time-limited individual and group modalities that support emotional, academic, and career development of students</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Coordinate practicum training for graduate students in mental health programs, including facilitating didactic seminars</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Lead supervision of supervision for doctoral interns who serve as supervisors to practicum trainees</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">May also provide supervision and training of advanced practicum trainees, graduate assistant, part time, or pre-licensed staff</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Provide intake and crisis intervention services</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Provide assessment and diagnostic services related to developing effective treatment plans and making appropriate referrals of student clients</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Serve as an advocate and as a liaison in the referral of students to on- and off-campus resources</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Provide consultation services for students, faculty, family/parents and staff related to psychological issues</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Conduct and collaborate on psycho-educational workshops and preventive outreach for students, faculty and staff</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Other duties as assigned</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">We are seeking candidates who will bring skills and interest in working with students from populations historically underrepresented/marginalized in higher education, including Black/African American, Indigenous/First Nations, Latinx, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Multiracial and other students of color, students with disabilities, and/or students who identify as LGBTQIA+. The candidate will have an understanding of the strengths of these students, as well as the impact that inequality, prejudice, and marginalization can have on people from historically under-served populations. The staff psychologist/training lead will have the skills and experience in therapy, consultation and outreach to provide culturally responsive care and will collaborate with campus and community partners to engage in meaningful psycho-educational outreach to promote student success and well-being.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Service provision is anticipated to include face-to-face and tele-mental health services to students regarding problems relating to stress, developmental issues, career, academics, interpersonal concerns, trauma and other mental health concerns.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">We seek candidates with evidence of training, expertise, commitment, and sustained engagement in working with Multiracial/BIPOC, students with disabilities, and/or LGBTQIA+ students towards their personal development, well-being, and academic success, through culturally responsive individual, group and community interventions. Candidates must also demonstrate commitment to supporting the development and growth of counselors-in-training in the area of culturally responsive interventions.</span></p>

<p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Independent licensure as a psychologist in Minnesota or able to obtain Minnesota license prior to the first day of employment</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Minimum two years experience providing counseling/clinical services in mental health settings</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Evidence of sustained pursuit of knowledge and experience working with culturally diverse populations</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Demonstrated experience providing culturally-informed counseling/clinical services to diverse and traditionally under-served student groups (e.g. BIPOC/Multicultural, LGBTQIA+, international students, first generation students, students with disabilities)</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Demonstrated experience providing culturally-informed supervision to diverse and traditionally under-served trainees (e.g. BIPOC/Multicultural, LGBTQIA+, international students, first generation students, trainees with disabilities)</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Interest in engaging fully in the typical work of a college counseling center, including short-term counseling, group counseling, crisis work, outreach, consultation, and training</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Minimum 1 year of experience providing clinical supervision to graduate clinicians-in-training</span></li>
</ul>
<p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Experience providing clinical services in a college mental health setting.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Experience and interest in providing group counseling, including both process oriented and skill building groups.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Completion of APA accredited internship in a college counseling center</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Program coordination or comparable administrative experience</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Training and experience in therapeutic psychological assessment</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Vocational, career, or academic counseling or coaching experience</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Two or more years of experience providing clinical supervision to graduate clinicians-in-training</span></li>
