			<p>Teaching responsibilities include three undergraduate courses each semester. Depending on the needs of the<br /> department and the applicant’s areas of expertise, the selected candidate will teach courses in<br /> psychopathology, multicultural psychology, research methods, group processes, counseling, and clinical<br /> psychology. In addition to relevant existing courses, the successful candidate also may teach courses in the<br /> areas of her or his interest and expertise. The successful candidate will maintain an active program of<br /> research/scholarship involving undergraduates. The department is committed to the Teacher/Scholar model<br /> and places an emphasis on faculty support of undergraduate research.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will be committed to the academic success of all of our students and to an<br /> environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates diversity and differences. To this end, the<br /> successful candidate will work effectively, respectfully, and collaboratively in diverse, multicultural, and<br /> inclusive settings. <p>In addition to teaching and scholarship, faculty are expected to provide academic and career advising to<br /> students, to assist the department with program assessment, administrative and/or committee work, and to<br /> serve on campus-wide committees.</p>
