SUMMARY 

We are seeking Doctoral Adjunct Faculty for the School of Psychology to work remotely on a part-time basis. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach PhD courses in any of the following areas: biological psychology, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, history and systems of psychology, qualitative and quantitative research methods, media psychology, performance psychology, learning and motivation, psychological assessment, consultation and supervision, psychotherapy techniques, and couples and family therapy.

Applications must include a CV and cover letter explaining qualifications to teach the course(s) for which the applicant is interested in teaching, and teaching philosophy/approach. Applications will be accepted for consideration until the positions have been filled. Positions begin as early as September 1, 2022.

QUALIFICATIONS 

We seek scholar-practitioners who have experience teaching remotely, ideally at the graduate level; a record of research/scholarly publications and/or practitioner experience in psychology; relevant expertise in the area(s) in which the applicant wishes to teach; and a PhD in Psychology. 

Courses are 15 weeks in length. Faculty are required to provide 2 hours of live lecture (via video conference) per week although there is flexibility on day(s) and time. Fielding operates on a three-term year (terms begin in January, May, September).  Adjunct faculty teach 1-6 classes per year total.

Positions will start to be filled for the September term.
