CLEVELAND STATE UNIVERSITY. The Department of Psychology invites applications for an ASSISTANT COLLEGE LECTURER. The University, College of Sciences and Health Professions, and Department seek to attract an active, culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber. In particular, we seek an individual who will teach undergraduate courses, including Introduction to Psychology, and courses in the Clinical Psychology specialization of our Master of Arts degree program. The appointee may be able to develop new courses and supervise honors and other undergraduate research projects. The appointee is expected to teach four courses per semester and to engage in department, college, and/or university service. The appointment will begin on August 17, 2020, and may be renewed annually, contingent on performance, program needs, and availability of budgetary resources.

Minimum qualification: Completion of all requirements for a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology by July 1, 2020.

Preferred qualifications: College teaching experience; interest in teaching Introduction to Psychology and graduate-level courses in clinical psychology; interest in serving on M.A. thesis committees; the ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community; credentialed as a licensed psychologist or eligible to be licensed as a psychologist in the State of Ohio; and completion of an APA-accredited internship.
