Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group is looking for an Assistant Director of Training for the JPS Child/Adolescent Doctoral Internship in Health Services Psychology Program. This will be a full-time, Mon-Fri position and a mix of inpatient, outpatient days and limited intervention services. There are 16 adolescent inpatient beds and you’ll be working closely with nurses, social workers, BH techs and peer support.

JPS offers 18 residency and fellowship programs, including the largest family medicine residency in the nation. JPS educates in tandem with the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Texas Christian University Medical School.

 Roles/Responsibilities:

1. Development of new pre-doctoral psychology internship rotation positions at facilities operated by the JPS Health Network that meet all American Psychological Association (APA) accreditation requirements.

2. Setting up and overseeing new psychological rotation positions within the JPS Health Network Psychology Doctoral Training programs (trainees to include doctoral practicum students and interns).

3. Coordinate staffing and technical infrastructure needed to implement this pre-doctoral child and adolescent internship training track within the JPS Doctoral Internship in Health Services Psychology.

4. Establishing system-of-care partnerships with the existing child and adolescent fellowship and resident training initiatives within the JPS Health Network.

5. Assess and treat children and adolescents and serve as rotation supervisor for the child and adolescent internship training track within the JPS Doctoral Internship in Health Services Psychology.

6. Coordinate program evaluation methods and process for both trainees and supervisors.

7.Periodically prepare reports on performance, progress made to date, milestones reached, upcoming activities, program issues, risks, and budget expenditures.

8. Ongoing development and refinement of the Child and Adolescent Internship Training Program.

Required Education and Experience:
• PhD from an accredited Psychology program 
• Experience Teaching Psychology Practicum or Doctoral Interns
• Experience doing psychological/neurocognitive assessments with children and adolescents
• Experience in training program development is a plus
