THE UNIVERSITY AT ALBANY (STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK): The Psychology Department at the University at Albany, State University of New York, invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position to begin Fall 2023 in Clinical Psychology. Area of research is open; however, applicants with expertise in developmental psychopathology, treatment research, or assessment are strongly encouraged to apply. We are especially interested in applicants with expertise in areas related to racial/ethnic minority populations. The ideal candidate will have an excellent record of scholarly activity and an interest in or record of attracting external funding for their program of research. In addition to conducting scholarly research, faculty are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise students’ clinical work at the University’s Psychological Services Center, and mentor students working on master’s and doctoral theses. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology or related field from a university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization and must be eligible for licensure as a psychologist in the state of New York. Candidates should be committed to working with and teaching a culturally diverse population and to supporting the University’s commitment to educating scholars for work in a world of increasing diversity.
