The Department of Psychology at Manhattanville College invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position to begin Fall 2020.  We seek an Experimental Psychologist; area of specialization is open.  Full time Psychology faculty members teach 6-7 courses per year (21 credits) including Research Methods in Psychology and/or Statistics, as well as, courses within area of specialization.  We seek candidates who can also contribute to interdisciplinary programs on campus such as our first-year program and our undergraduate honors program.  In addition to their teaching responsibilities, faculty supervise undergraduate research, include undergraduates in faculty research, and participate in the governance of the department and of the College.  The six full-time faculty members of the Psychology Department provide a supportive environment for the development of new colleagues including reduced teaching load and limited advising and committee responsibilities in the first year.
