invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin Fall 2021 with expertise in personality (Position No. 00006247).  Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field (or foreign equivalent) and a record of peer-reviewed publications in personality.  Also, having expertise in measurement is desirable. Duties include teaching undergraduate lecture and research courses (including Experimental Psychology); major and career advising; and departmental, college, and university service.  Candidates should demonstrate experience in teaching, mentoring, research, and community service that has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate a record of scholarly activity and potential to obtain outside funding. Teaching assignments may include courses at the Hayward, Concord, and online campuses.  Laboratory space is available and faculty development funds for research are awarded on a competitive basis.
