• Demonstrated evidence of commitment to student centered, culturally centered competence in the practice of psychology including a track record of past and recent evidence of involvement in graduate work, substantive professional development, and/or research efforts in this area.
• Clear evidence of an educational and/or clinical history of specialized training and skill development in the study and practice of cognitive behavioral therapy such as graduate work and internship training with a self-selected, primary emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy; formal supervision in the practice of cognitive behavioral therapy.
• Experience in clinical team building where the emphasis is on use of cognitive therapy/evidence based practice; documented, consistent post graduate history of involvement in professional organizations and professional development activities where the primary emphasis is on CBT
• Knowledge and understanding of collaborative and hierarchical elements of communication in a healthcare environment; a commitment to and understanding of the mission of the CAPS service in relation to the broader University community.
• Ability to initiate positive change.
• Must plan effectively, manage ambiguity and assist with handling problem areas pro-actively. Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, and assume accountability.
• Must understand and manage confidential communication and information appropriately.
• Must be committed to continuous improvement of processes, programs and services.
• Demonstrated commitment to understanding diversity and multicultural issues in a clinical setting.

Minimum Education And Experience:

• Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field. 
• A minimum of 5 years experience in administration in a mental healthcare environment.
• Requires licensure as a Psychologist in the State of NJ.
