The ASU Clinical Psychology program is dually accredited by PCSAS and APA. We adhere to the Clinical Science training model, and our training philosophy is consistent with the missions of both PCSAS and APA, as we believe that sound clinical practice must have a strong basis in empirical research and that sound clinical research must be based on firm grounding of experience in clinical practice. This reciprocal training begins in the Clinical Psychology Center, which was established in 1959 as an outpatient clinic and training facility for doctoral students in clinical psychology. The mission of the Clinical Psychology Center is to provide outstanding in-person and telehealth services to our clients using evidence-based, best practices.
