The College of Health Professions at Mercer University invites applications for a full-time faculty member for our Clinical Psychology doctoral program. This position is for a tenure-track faculty in a progressive and innovative department that emphasizes evidence-based treatment and an integrative approach to healthcare and interaction with our other partner programs (Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Public Health, Athletic Training, and Kinesiology).

Responsibilities include doctoral student classroom instruction and evaluation; small group supervision; advisement and mentoring of students; admissions and accreditation activities; committee involvement; and scholarly activities to include publications, grants, presentations, and collaborative projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong research orientation with established or potential for extramural support, and a commitment to excellence in education. Qualifications include a degree from an APA-accredited PhD or PsyD Clinical Psychology program, completion of an APA-accredited internship, and eligibility for licensure in Georgia as a clinical psychologist. Prior experience teaching, supervising, and mentoring graduate students is desirable. This position will be a 12-month appointment based at Mercer University’s Cecil B.
