In this role, the Clinical Services Manager (CSM), under the direction of the Deputy Director of Child and Youth Services, will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive countywide mental health programs. This includes overseeing both county-operated and contracted clinic and field-based outpatient services that address the diverse needs of children, adolescents, families, Transitional Age Youth (TAY18-25) and adults with serious mental illness.

The Clinical Services Manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing a range of services, including client engagement, assessment, targeted and intensive case management, medication management, and mental health treatment and therapy. Additionally, this role involves supervising crisis intervention services, care coordination, and support groups to ensure individuals receive the necessary support to enhance their overall well-being. The position will also focus on implementing rehabilitation, wellness, and recovery services that foster long-term stability and an improved quality of life for clients.

By leading these critical programs, the Clinical Services Manager will play a vital role in ensuring that comprehensive, client-centered mental health and substance use disorder services are effectively delivered across the county, fostering a system of care that is responsive to the needs of the community.

The successful candidate will oversee the Shasta Youth Outpatient Regional Clinic (Redwood City), Transitional Age Youth Team (County-wide field-based services) and work collaboratively with the Adult Clinical Services Manager to support the East Palo Alto (EPA) Community Counseling Center (regional outpatient clinic), which serves both youth and adult clients.
