Pediatric Psychology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine/UVA Children’s Hospital is expanding rapidly! We have seven open clinical faculty positions in a variety of primary and sub-specialty medical settings and ranging from early-career to leadership roles. Positions are housed within Pediatric Psychology in the Department of Pediatrics at UVA. Most positions are primarily clinical with time allotted for teaching, research, and administrative tasks. Click the links below for detailed descriptions:
- Director of Consultation/Liaison Service and Outpatient Gastroenterology – Develop and lead a C/L service; provide outpatient treatment services as part of the GI team.
- Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics – Outpatient assessment and intervention for children with neurodevelopmental disorders and medical complexity.
- Integrated Primary Care (2 positions) – Brief assessment/intervention, consultation, warm hand-offs, and program development in a pediatric primary care setting.
- Diabetes Prevention – Outpatient assessment and intervention for youth at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes within an interdisciplinary team of providers.
- Food Allergy and Specialty Mental Health – Outpatient assessment and treatment within the Food Allergy medical clinic and within the new Pediatric Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Health Clinic at UVA.
- Director, Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Health Clinic – The inaugural Clinic Director of the new Pediatric Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Health Clinic at UVA. Clinical responsibilities include outpatient assessment and intervention.
