The Department of Psychology at Georgia State University anticipates hiring an Academic Professional whose primary job duty will be administrative service as the Director of the Regents Center for Learning Disorders (RCLD) at Georgia State University. This full time, non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of Psychology will also include instructional responsibilities (primarily clinical supervision, but also some teaching of the assessment class for doctoral students in clinical psychology, and administrative support of students’ research related to learning disabilities). The RCLD serves 11 state colleges and universities in Georgia, and it is one of three such Centers in the University System of Georgia. The Regents Centers provide comprehensive assessments, consultative services, and research and policy development related to students with disabilities enrolled in public colleges and universities in the state of Georgia. The Director is responsible for oversight of all Center activities, including supervision of professional and clerical staff and doctoral-level practicum students, budget management, implementation of policies and procedures for students with disabilities, collaboration with other Regents Centers in Georgia, consulting with other relevant state and federal agencies on disability policy, and overseeing data management and use.
