POSITION DESCRIPTION
Fielding’s APA accredited Clinical Psychology program seeks seasoned scholars with University teaching experience to fill half time Faculty appointments. This Faculty appointment requires teaching a minimum of three online 4 credit term courses per year, attending one residential session with a 2 day faculty retreat and three days of in person seminars, supervision of doctoral dissertations, serving as second reader on dissertations, and serving on one program level committee.* Faculty members are expected to maintain an active program of research and scholarship.
*The number and type of activities that represent half the work of a fulltime faculty appointment is negotiated with the Program Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome faculty from diverse backgrounds who have a commitment to social justice and experience working with multicultural learners. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience incorporating diversity into their teaching and research. Areas of expertise being sought include one or more of the following areas: Multicultural Psychology, Psychological Assessment, Qualitative Research Cognitive-Behavioral Theory/Practice, Psychotherapy Research, Psychometric Theory, Social Psychology, Statistics, and Research Design. Candidates must have a record of publications. Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their teachings, research, and mentorship.
