Northern Arizona University’s Department of Psychological Sciences invites applications for two or more non- tenure-track lecturer appointments beginning August 2018. These positions are teaching focused, 9-month appointments, non-tenure eligible, at the rank of Lecturer. The positions are expected to be continuing, with potential for promotion.  Renewal is contingent on performance and department needs. The typical teaching load for a lecturer is 4-4.

Teaching loads are the equivalent of four courses per semester. Although the area of expertise is open, we are seeking individuals with specialization in one of the following areas: Experimental, Developmental, Social, Cognitive, and Personality. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach a subset of the following courses: Introduction to Statistics, Research Methods, Introduction to PsychologyDevelopmental, Social, Cognitive and Personality Psychology, and Motivation and Emotion.  The Lecturer appointment has full participation in the unit’s faculty governance and service.
