The University of Rochester University Counseling Center (UCC) is seeking applications for the position of Staff Psychologist, joining a supportive, diverse multidisciplinary staff committed to robust, self-reflective, culturally-informed training and clinical services.   This Staff member will have roles as a supervisor, clinician and consultant to the campus community. The successful applicant will be hard-working, diversity affirming, and fluent in various treatment approaches.  This position will begin in August, 2020 as a senior member of the University Health Service (UHS) staff, as Staff Psychologist reporting to the Director of the Counseling Center.

The University Counseling Center has a long-standing commitment to excellence in training and clinical practice in college mental health, characterized by intensive supervision and a focus on the importance of self-reflection and critical thinking in clinical practice. This training is provided to psychology practicum students, social work interns, doctoral psychology interns, psychology postdoctoral fellows, and psychiatric residents from the University of Rochester Medical Center.

The University of Rochester UCC professional and training staff, as part of the University of Rochester University Health Services, provides psychotherapy and outreach to a diverse and highly motivated student population with a significant representation of international students.  The UCC provides services to undergraduate and graduate schools including the College of Arts, Sciences and Engineering, the Eastman School of Music, the School of Medicine and Dentistry, the School of Nursing, the Simon Graduate School of Business Administration, and the Warner Graduate School of Education.
